SUPER BOWL SPLENDOR

I've been getting a TON of invites on Facebook to some super cool sounding events/parties to celebrate Super Bowl 44 (I don't know the roman numerals) and watch the Saints take on the Colts (Sun., Feb. 7 at p.m.). From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., they'll feature:
- $5 Hair Cuts
- $15 Facial & Make-Up Application
- $15 Mani-pedicures
- 10% off on all additional services for wearing your favorite team jersey, college or NFL Team!
- Plus, refreshments will be served!

Sunday, Feb. 7
CAROLINA ALE HOUSE (277 Columbiana Drive, 1 to 4 p.m.):Super Bowl Pig Pickin at Carolina Ale House's Harbison location. Tailgate before the game and enjoy BBQ, beer specials and live music. Plus, they're giving away a 42" HD flatscreen TV at the end of the game.

ZPIZZA (1616 Gervais Street, 6 to 11 p.m.): $20 for unlimited pizza and beer while watching the biggest sporting event in the world should be enough. Well, shoot, they'll also have $2 shots and have some square boards ready with cash prizes for half time and the final score. The more people there, the bigger the prizes!

ROOSTER'S DEN (1215 Augusta Road Suite A, West Columbia, SC 29169): $30 at Rooster's Den will get you in the door and all the drinks you can drink (let them know what you like ahead of time so they'll have it on hand). $30 per person in advance (by 2-5-10) for FREE Buffet, FREE Liquor, FREE Beer. It will be $35 at the door (day of). Watch the game on the big screen and when the game is over, they will have karaoke, dancing and a raffle. Here's the "kicker"... you have to be 21 years or older!
