TOP VALUE WINES OF THE WEEK
one of the year's best values in White Burgundy for only $14 a bottle!!
-Larochette-Manciat "Les Morizettes", 07 Macon...this one is certain to become a favorite for many of you! this stainless-steel barrel produced Chardonnay is long and beautiful with long notes of citrus, green apple, ripe pineapple and just a touch of honey and winter pear. it's bone-dry and is a great choice for everything from "porch-sippin" to pairing with grilled seafood or Paul Rudd's favorite "summer salad". sorry, you have to see the movie.
# bottlest you'd like_____
-Borgo Scopeto Chianti Classico 2005...pure, silky smooth, old-world style blend of mostly sangiovese and a touch of cabernet & merlot. long, generous notes of pretty plum, dried cherry, white pepper & chewy raspberry.
normal retail is $20 YOUR WINE CLUB PRICE is only $15 a bottle! # bottles you'd like______
-Budini Malbec 2007 Argentina...this stuff rocks! it's chewy, dark and loaded with notes of dark berries, roasted nuts and that chocolate-covered-cherry goodness that lingers on the palate for a long, smooth finish. any fan of classic Malbec's will enjoy it. especially at the low price of only
$11 a bottle. # bottles you want_____
-Cortenova Primitivo, 2007 Italy...some refer to it as Italy's "Red Zin". but that's a little misleading because if anything, Cali's Red Zin came long after the Italians famed Primitivo. what you're getting is a big mouthful of jammy, toasty, blueberry-blackberry aromas with hints of mission fig, date, roasted nuts and italian herbs. it's a great buy at $11 a bottle.
# bottles you want______
