The State Fair is Coming Soon!

The South Carolina State Fair is just two weeks away, and I can't wait! This year, the fair will run from October 14 to October 25.

The State Fair has something to offer for everyone. Whether it is the rides, the games, the amazing food, or the atmosphere in general, the State Fair is a fantastic experience for people of all ages.

I love everything about the State Fair, so its really hard for me to pick a favorite part. However, if I had to choose, I would say the Fiske French Fries and the elaborate sandcastle they make each year (cheesy, I know...but I've loved it ever since I was a little kid).

Ahhhh I can not wait! I for some reason have been out of town every year during the weekends the state fair was in town so unfortunately I have not yet been. This year I am making sure Im around so I can finally see what it's all about :) I think the part Im most excited about is the food!

Food, for sure! on the list: foot long corn dog, frozen banana, mini donuts, french fries, strawberry lemonade, and stuffed mushrooms!

deep fried cookie dough... i've started working out now two weeks in advance to prepare for the caloric intake :-)

I am so excited about the Food! I get a little nervous when it comes to the rides (something about putting them up in one day makes me nervous). But oh how I love those fries, and elephant ears!!!
