I've seen Avatar, and special effects aside, it is a beautiful movie. I loved the story line of second chances and the idea that true love goes beyond race (or species), especially when you look within.

I also seen Inglorious Basterds and I was disappointed for a Quentin Tarantino movie.

Between the two I vote for Avatar!

But what I really can't see is Sandra Bullock getting a best actress for The Blind Side. I heard it is a gorgeous movie and I want to see it, but Sandra Bullock acting is so flat, maybe I already typecasted her to the silly romantic comedies that has been paying her bills for the last forever years ( and hey, I love Hope Floats), but until she proves me wrong I don't see her as "oscar worthy."

Sandra Bullock proved me wrong!!!!!!! She won the Oscars! Good for her, I got to watch "The Blind Side."
Avatar only got 3... :( and not best movie. Who would think that mega million dollar budget, latest imagery technology, and inter-species love story can not guarantee you the best movie award?

Got to watch The Hurt Locker too, has anyone seen it? I have no idea of what is even about, but it made history...first directorial Oscar to a woman!
